Visit Mount Olympus National Park, where you can reach the summit of Mytikas via unforgettable trails. Day 1: Arrive at Athens airport. Transfer to Ypati – Fthiotida. Over night and dinner at Ypati.

Day 2: Transfer to the historic Damasta Monastery, where your journey begins. From here, embark on a thrilling hike along the very path once taken by the Persian army to outflank the Greeks during the legendary Battle of Thermopylae. Upon reaching Thermopylae, explore the battlefield, stand before the iconic monument to Leonidas, and delve into history at the information center. Then, reward your efforts with a soothing dip in the natural hot springs before heading back to Ypati. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in this charming mountain town.

Day 3: Today’s journey takes you along the historic railway path — a trail once carved out by the hands of those who built the vital rail connection between Athens and Thessaloniki. After a transfer to Heraklia, lace up your boots and walk in the footsteps of history, surrounded by scenic landscapes and echoes of the past. At day’s end, return to Ypati for a cozy overnight stay and a hearty dinner at a local tavern.

Day 4: Hike the legendary Witches’ Trail — known as the ‘Pharmakides’ Trail, named after the mysterious women believed to practice healing and sorcery in the area during the Middle Ages. Over night at Ypati. Dinner at a local tavern.

Day 5: Transfer to Litochoro, the charming gateway to Mount Olympus nestled at the foot of the legendary mountain. Today is a well-deserved rest day — take time to relax, explore the town’s quaint streets, or simply soak in the views of the peaks that await. Over night at Litochoro. Dinner at a local tavern.

Day 6: Hiking to Spilios Agapitos or Kakalos refuge, depending on the weather. Overnight and diner at the refuge.
Day 7: Weather and snow conditions permitting, today offers the chance to summit Mytikas — the awe-inspiring peak of Mount Olympus and the highest point in Greece at 2,918 meters. If conditions aren’t ideal for the ascent, immerse yourself in the wild beauty of Olympus with a scenic hike around its slopes. Either way, you’ll end the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a mountain refuge, surrounded by legends and towering peaks.
Day 8: Transfer to Kalambaka, under the awe-inspiring rock pillars of Meteora — a UNESCO World Heritage site where monasteries seem to float between earth and sky. Overnight at Kalambaka. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 9: Embark on the “Round of the Monasteries” — a scenic hike through dramatic rock formations, where you’ll visit some of the region’s most iconic and historic monasteries perched high above the valley. For thrill-seekers, there’s also the option to challenge yourself with a Via Cordata, climbing along fixed ropes for a unique perspective of the landscape. End the day in Kalambaka with a well-earned dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight stay beneath the towering cliffs of Meteora.

Day 10: Transfer to Athens. End of the trip.
