Kostas is the heart and soul of Peripetia365—a certified Mountain Leader with over 15 years of experience and a member of the Cretan Mountain Leaders Association. He collaborates with top outdoor adventure companies and is always looking to sharpen his skills and explore new challenges. When he’s not leading hikes and treks, you’ll find him rock climbing, trail running, or ski touring—always chasing the next adventure!

Yorgos first discovered the magical world of the mountains in 2007. Captivated by the beauty and experiences he found there, he quickly developed a deep love for nature. Since then, after countless kilometers of hiking across the mountains of Crete and Greece, and completing mountaineering and climbing courses, he achieved his dream of becoming a Mountain Leader. He is a graduate of the Vocational Institution of Rethymno and a certified by the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance. In addition to these, Yorgos is also a Level 1 Via Ferrata Guide (I.C.A.N.), a Canyoning Assistant Guide (I.C.A.N.), and a certified Wilderness First Aid provider for remote areas, trained by the Emergency Care & Safety Institute.
